As the weather warms up and everything starts growing, it's a great time to check in on your yard and property.

The District of Hope's Good Neighbour Bylaw requires property owners and occupiers to maintain their properties and prevent excessive growth of grass, weeds, dead vegetation, and other unsightly conditions. These issues aren't just aesthetic… they can also create fire hazards during the dry season.

By keeping properties maintained, we can all help reduce fire risk, support neighbourhood pride, and contribute to a safer community for everyone.
