Planning a development project, subdivision, rezoning, or land use change within the District of Hope? This package provides the forms, checklists, and supporting information required for a variety of development-related applications.
Development applications help ensure proposed projects align with the District's Official Community Plan, Zoning Bylaw, development objectives, and applicable provincial regulations.
BEFORE YOU APPLY
Before submitting an application, applicants are encouraged to:
Review the applicable zoning and Official Community Plan designations for the property.
Discuss the proposal with Planning staff to better understand application requirements.
Gather supporting documentation, plans, and technical studies that may be required.
Review applicable fees, policies, and bylaws.
Ensure all information submitted is complete to avoid delays in processing.
