Fees & Fee Schedule
Under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), the District may charge fees for certain costs associated with processing a request for records.
A non-refundable application fee of $10.00 applies to all formal FOI requests, except requests for an applicant's own personal information. Depending on the size and complexity of the request, additional fees may be charged for activities such as locating, retrieving, preparing, or reproducing records.
If additional fees are expected, the District will provide a written fee estimate outlining the anticipated costs. Applicants must review and approve the estimate before processing can continue, and a deposit may be required prior to work commencing.
No fees are charged for requests involving an applicant's own personal information. In some cases, fees may also be reduced if records are viewed in person rather than copied or reproduced.
