🚒 District of Hope Fire Department Earns Superior Tanker Shuttle Accreditation
The District of Hope Fire Department has successfully achieved Superior Tanker Shuttle accreditation, a nationally recognized standard that demonstrates the department's ability to deliver a reliable and sustained water supply to fire scenes in areas without fire hydrants.
This accreditation follows months of preparation, training, and a comprehensive evaluation process. It confirms that firefighters can efficiently transport and deliver water to support firefighting operations in non-hydranted areas throughout much of our community.
🏡 What does this mean for residents?
Many insurance providers recognize Superior Tanker Shuttle accreditation as the rural equivalent of a municipal hydrant system. As a result, some homeowners and businesses located in eligible non-hydranted areas may qualify for reduced fire insurance premiums. Residents are encouraged to contact their insurance provider to determine whether this accreditation may affect their policy.
🚒 This achievement reflects the dedication, professionalism, and preparedness of our firefighters, who work tirelessly to protect our community every day.
Congratulations to all members of the District of Hope Fire Department on this outstanding accomplishment.
